General questions about system integration

Is integration worthwhile for smaller shops too?

Answer

Yes. The deciding question is not company size but the manual effort spent maintaining data between systems. As soon as that becomes noticeable, or errors from double maintenance start costing money, automation pays off. As a rough guide: with over 100 orders per month or regular price changes across more than 500 products, a professional integration typically pays for itself within six to twelve months (project experience).

The phased entry point is especially attractive for smaller shops. You start with one clearly scoped data flow, for example order transfer to the ERP, and only expand once the need arises. That keeps the initial investment low and lets the solution grow with your business. You will find an overview of the possible building blocks under services.
