BT stands for a business term, a standardised data field in the European model for electronic invoices. Examples are the invoice number or the delivery date. Each field has a fixed identifier so that sender and recipient understand the same information in the same way. When connecting a shop and accounting, the identifier shows where a piece of information belongs in the invoice.
