Advertising objection

In short and in plain language

With an advertising objection, a person says: I want no more adverts.

This can cover all adverts or just one way, such as email or letters.

Laws on data protection and on competition say what follows from it.

Definition
An advertising objection is a person's statement that their data should no longer be used for advertising. It can cover all advertising or single channels, such as email or post. The GDPR and the German UWG govern what follows from it.
