What happens during SAP or Dynamics updates?

System updates can change interfaces, for example when a field is renamed or an API endpoint is retired. To make sure this never turns into a silent outage, our operations contracts include compatibility checks before every major update. We first apply the update on a test environment, check the existing data flows against the new version, and adapt the connectors where needed, before the production environment is touched.

For cloud versions like Dynamics 365 Business Central, which update automatically in fixed cycles, we track the vendor's release notes and respond proactively to announced API changes. This forward-looking maintenance is part of our SLA-based operations packages and prevents a routine update from paralyzing your order processing.
